After a couple years of the door opener (drivers side) clicking to open multiple times when using the touch pad, I finally changed the pad. It was about $28.00 and fixed the problem.  It took about 5 minutes to change.  I of course took the old one apart to find much gooey corrosion.  I could have probably cleaned the old one with some solvent.  Steve
