COTV member Mike McGhee is seeking help for the Fenixia Foundation (a 501(c)3 charitable organization in Palm Desert). They are hosting a Gala for high-functioning young adults with special needs. This will be an exciting evening for these attendees, who would otherwise rarely get an opportunity to attend such an event. The organizors would like to add to their memories by having 8 - 10 Corvettes give these young men and women a ride around the parking lot when they arrive.
We will be caravaning from Kohl's parking lot to Palm Desert at 1:00 pm. We'll grab a bite to eat about 2:30 pm, then head to the event around 4:00 pm. The Gala starts at 5 pm. Once all the attendees have had a ride (around 6:00 pm) we will head home.
Note: Since this is a dressy affair, please be willing to dress up a bit in respect of the occassion.
