We had a fun day, meeting at the Big Flag in Temecula

We took 8 Corvettes for a cruise down Rt 15

to the Corvettes of San Diego Elks Club for Cars & Burgers

met a lot of people and saw some amazing cars

Food was great and a full bar

We gathered at 9:00am and by 9:30 we were on our way. We traded the warm inland heat for a cool ‘June Gloom’ lunch in Carlsbad at BJ’s Brewhouse. We took RT 15 South to Gopher Canyon Rd, then to the Deer Park Winery and Vintage Car Museum. To check out some cool cars and to use the restrooms. We went back on Gopher Canyon road and then to Hwy 76, made a Left and headed West towards the ocean and then made our way to BJ’s Brewhouse outdoor dining with about 70 people.

No infield parking or pot luck this year.

They will rope off parking for us $10 per car.

Seating will be Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant Tables,

4 per table @ $17.00 per person food will be $20 price range.

Looks like $40 to $45 per person for a day at the races

and

a chance to make a LOT of money betting on the ponies.

Jim needs a minimum of 20 people to reserve the date.

Good Friends, Make Good Times Even Better!!

The weather was amazing as 49 cars rolled in to meet. There were some new members and guests. We gathered at 9:30am and by 10:00 we were on our way. Our 60 mile drive started on Butterfield Stage Road thru wine country then Rt 79 to Domenigoni to Diamond Valley Marina for a bathroom break, then Sage road and back to Temecula for a party on Cabrillo road. We filled the parking lot with a Sea of Stingrays, what a gorgeous sight! There were tents, DJ and food. Excellent run and a big Thank You to Paradise Chevrolet and Dave English!
